I have absolutely no idea what type of plant this is. I spotted it off a trail in the El Yunque rain forest. I immediately thought it looked like a hand. Once I made it home and skimmed through the themes for 366, I realized it would be a fun fit for fingers.

You're right! Looks a bit liks a tree frog's ahnd reaching through, to say "Help, rescue me!" (except you can see there's nothing underneath).
