This week is another Recap Six from my trip home for Thanksgiving. I grew up in East Tennessee, less than an hour from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. On Friday, instead of shopping, a few of us headed to
Cades Cove to drive around the loop. It had been several years since I'd been there.

A pretty leaf, just barely hanging on.

The moon was out early, and it was so high in the sky!

A typical view of the Cades Cove area. It's absolutely gorgeous in the fall and spring.
Until next week . . .
