Okay, this one is a bit of a stretch. These two books* aren't really about recessionary economics, but they are about economics in general! ;) These are both actually still on my "to read" list. Maybe I'll take them with me to the beach.
The top book is "Reefer Madness", but I was afraid removing the sale sticker would mess up the cover.

Those don't look like "beach reads" to me--I thought beach reads were paperbacks that let you escape real life!
Perfect for the theme - hopefully we won't have to read those for one (I'm staying optamistic))! :)
If they were Library books or you stole them from a friends bookcase they would qualify. Top perspective too.
I read Freakanomics on the beach in Cabo. It is a pretty easy read. Enjoy!
@ Danudin -- I wonder if the buy one get one free sticker places it within the theme? ;)
@Mevets -- Yay! I'm not the only one who'd consider this beach reading! :)
I've actually read part of Freakanomics for a White Collar Crime class I took in law school. It was good!
I think the sale sticker adds to the recessionary economics factor, many stores are having to cut prices to get sales. And the freakanomics really sums up what this economy is going thru right now, I think! This shot was a great idea.
Maybe they hold the key to the recovery of the sad state of economic affairs!!
Nice take on the theme! This one has me stumped so far.
