A photographer friend and I were out and about taking photos recently and we wandered into a thrift store. There were lots of fun things in there and I believe there might be a photo of me in a bright, blue feather boa floating around somewhere. *cringes* Anyhoo, this mannequin was in one of the front windows and we both played around with shooting it. There's some post-process in this one to bring it nearly to B&W but the color one isn't too bad either.

I'd forgotten about that movie! Good shot for the theme...perhaps we'll see that blue-feathered boa pic some in the future? ; )
Perfect, I forgot about that movie too, but the moment I saw your image the memories came back....
I've no idea what movie but I LOVE the shot. Very 1940s...
Oh this must be a Woman Thing, the only title I can think of is Warpaint and I think Michael Ansara starred in that
Intresting photo - love the muted color. I have no idea what movie this is either!
@ DART - I haven't even seen the boa picture! ;) But, hey, who knows, right?
@ Chesney - I've never even seen the movie!! I can just remember seeing it previewed over and over.
@ Julie - Thanks! I think it's my favorite so far. :)
@ Danudin & Karen - It's from the late 80s. I remember it had Andrew McCarthy and James Spader, but I can't remember who played the mannequin.
Hmm, IMDB says it was Kim Cattrell.

Love the photo. I know nothing about the movie either.
This does look nicely retro, I like the tones.
