This is Buck. Buck is the sweetheart puppy of a very good friend. Here, Buck is worn out from playing with his tennis ball and his tire. Although, I think he was only down for about 30 seconds before he was up and ready for more!
Isn't that tire just an awesome toy for a big dog? He's so funny with it, too. If you barely reach for it he growls like crazy! Also, if it's on the floor and he even thinks you're going to make a move for it -- he races you to it. Of course, like all dogs, he taunts you with it when you do stop playing.
Man, you gotta love dogs!

I knew immediately the spot I wanted to use for this theme. There's a tunnel here in Atlanta on Krog Street affectionately known as . . . the Krog Street Tunnel! It's located in Cabbagetown, which is a few minutes from downtown. The tunnel is pretty much covered from front to back, top to bottom with graffiti. The cool thing is, it isn't just your typical graffiti! I mean, just look at that mouse! There's quite a bit of artistic and political graffiti mixed in with the "regular" graffiti (for lack of a better word).
The problem with choosing this location for my graffiti theme is that I had a really hard time choosing which picture I wanted to use. So, I'm also going to post some of the other ones I took.
I especially like this next picture because you can see three different layers of graffiti on the wall.

For about 10 minutes this afternoon I was the only person aside from the docent at the Beluga Whale exhibit. This is Nico, he was rescued from an amusement park in Mexico City and has really enjoyed being around the aquarium's female beluga whales . . . if you catch my drift. Nico was very curious about me and seemed to stay up near the top where I was standing. The docent said he's a bit of a flirt. He definitely made me smile and it looks like he's wearing a smile of his own.

I'm not sure if you heard or not, but we had a major snow storm in the Atlanta area a couple of weeks ago. Oh, who am I kidding. We received about 1/8 inch of snow. That's all! Although, the way the news was going on and on you would've thought we were getting feet! Please.
Anyway, since it was cold as blue blazes, I decided to build a fire. I love this picture because it captures the embers floating away.
